Incap Electronics Slovakia has added a cleanroom at its Námestovo site, introducing controlled-environment assembly into its electronics manufacturing operations.
Founded in 2008 by parent company Incap Corporation, Incap Slovakia’s 6,400 sqm Námestovo site provides electronics manufacturing services, which includes a dedicated production hall for the automotive business.
The new installation enables selected production processes to be carried out under ISO Class 6 and ISO Class 7 conditions, where airborne particle levels are tightly controlled to reduce contamination risks in sensitive electronic assemblies.
The capability is intended for semiconductor-related applications and other high-reliability electronics, where particulate contamination can affect performance, yield and long-term stability.
The new area focuses on contamination-sensitive final manufacturing steps.
This includes material management and the monitoring and control of pre-assembly processes, culminating in box-build assembly where electronics are integrated into finished products under controlled conditions.
The cleanroom also supports manufacturing steps requiring controlled handling environments and traceability across production workflows.
For the company, the upgrade broadens the Slovakian site’s offering within high-specification electronics manufacturing, complementing its existing PCB assembly and electromechanical capabilities.
“Demand for contamination-controlled manufacturing is increasing, particularly in semiconductor and other high-technology sectors,” said Miroslav Michalik, Managing Director of Incap Slovakia.
“This investment strengthens our ability to support customers with requirements for controlled final assembly and enables us to take on more demanding high-tech manufacturing projects.”
