IsoFlow isolators increase containment and protection

Focus on the treatment of cytotoxic products and high-risk biological materials

Telstar Group’s IsoFlow isolators for preparation of cytotoxic medicines, working with high-risk biological materials, and TB-research, are said to provide more protection than class II cabinets.

The IsoFlow series for pharmaceutical and biotechnological laboratories starts with a basic model, that is modular and extendable, allowing customisation for specific solutions.

This model offers the option of negative or positive pressure, HEPA filters underneath the working surface and either one or two hatches. Other options include VHP connection, dunk tank, UV light, alcohol shower and storage shelf in the working space.

The modular construction of the IsoFlow allows different types of isolators to be composed for different applications.

Other features include laminar air flow, fast recovery time within the hatch, inflatable gaskets, interlock system, user-friendly control, ergonomically adjustable height for comfortable glove manipulation and foot rest position, stainless steel interior and exterior, ergonomically sloped window and optional advanced PLC control.

Telstar Clean Air, the Telstar Group technological centre, located at Woerden, in the Netherlands, has developed the IsoFlow series. This centre develops standard and bespoke isolators, biological safety cabinets and laminar flow installations.
