Lockheed Martin upgrades DELMIA Robotics implementation
New system saves time and means workers are protected from paint fumes
The US aerospace firm says the robots also save time and protect workers from potentially harmful paint fumes.
Lockheed Martin has been using manufacturing simulation systems from Dassault Systemes of France for a long time and its implementation of DELMIA Robotics has improved the efficiency of its manufacturing processes by linking the French firm’s CATIA design authoring and DELMIA digital manufacturing solutions.
Dassault Systemes has been a pioneer in the 3D software market since 1981 and its applications provide a 3D vision of the lifecycle of products from conception to maintenance and recycling.
