Shanghai Leshang Construction Material has completed its first cleanroom project in Mexico, delivering a complete cleanroom enclosure system for an unnamed customer.
The project is relatively small in scale but incorporates a range of cleanroom components, including wall and ceiling panels, cleanroom doors, observation windows and stainless steel clean transfer windows.
Shanghai Leshang was established in 2006 and operates across building materials including steel decking and sandwich panels.
The company supplied the project through its SDpanel brand which was established in 2012 and which specialises in sandwich panel, cleanroom panel and cold room panel systems.
The company says its cleanroom products are used across sectors including electronics, pharmaceuticals, food processing, healthcare and aerospace.
Silicate wall panels and aluminium honeycomb ceiling
The Mexican installation uses silicate cleanroom panels for the walls and aluminium honeycomb panels for the ceiling.
SDpanel offers silicate rock cleanroom panels as part of its cleanroom enclosure range, alongside aluminium honeycomb, glass magnesium and rock wool panel systems.
Its aluminium honeycomb panels are available with aluminium or 304 stainless steel outer skins and are designed specifically for cleanroom applications.
The company says the aluminium honeycomb ceiling panels were selected for their cleanliness performance.
The cleanroom doors supplied for the project are available in two widths, 800 mm and 1,000 mm, while the cleanroom windows measure 800 mm × 800 mm and use a double-pane configuration.
Stainless steel clean transfer windows were also supplied to allow materials to be transferred between controlled areas without requiring personnel to move between them.
SDpanel's wider cleanroom range includes cleanroom doors in steel, stainless steel, colour steel and resin finishes, with aluminium honeycomb, paper honeycomb or rock wool used as core materials depending on the specification.
Installation support provided
The project was supplied as a system, with Shanghai Leshang providing installation documentation and videos for the Mexican customer.
The company said this support was intended to help the customer, which was using its cleanroom system for the first time, complete the installation quickly and smoothly.
SDpanel's website says its cleanroom panels are designed for relatively straightforward installation and that the company provides installation guidance to customers.
Shanghai Leshang had previously announced the shipment of the cleanroom components to its Mexican customer in December 2025.
At the time, it said the wall panels, ceiling panels, windows and doors were shipped together, with protective film applied to the panels for transportation.
Installation documentation and videos were also prepared for the customer.
