Something for everyone at Cleanrooms Europe
Frankfurt once again plays host to Cleanrooms Europe where manufacturers, suppliers, and service companies will exhibit products and services ranging from the equipping of simple clean production environments to highly specialised semiconductor facilities.
The organisers say the 2003 exhibition and accompanying conference has developed from being a purely sales and information event into a "major cross-sector happening". Visitors from companies, clinics, institutes, associations and universities, covering all areas involved with contamination control technology, clean production and hygiene, are said to meet here – both experts and newcomers alike. The event is promoted as the place to find concrete, practical solutions to every problem, from planning, building, and equipping a cleanroom, including instrumentation, clothing, accessories, and services, to specific product requirements.
Conference A number of lecture series, tailored according to sector and level of knowledge, will be held at the parallel conference focusing on cleanroom, hygiene and contamination control technology. Taking place for the sixth time, the organisers say the two and a half day event will give users, researchers and developers from the worlds of business and science a chance to exchange experiences in the areas of cleanroom technology and contamination control. It will also serve as a forum for discussing the current state of affairs and future developments: According to the organisers, "New legal guidelines and recent court decisions today threaten doctors and hospital employees with the possibility of actions for recourse and claims for damages. This puts them under an even greater obligation to insist on compliance with guidelines and regulations that protect patients, personnel and the environment from contamination and infections". In addition to the "Cleanroom and Hygiene Basics" series, lectures will also be given on the following themes: "Hygiene and Hospitals", "Sterile Packaging" and "Advanced Packaging".
