Global flooring manufacturer Stonhard has acquired Italian resin flooring and coatings specialist PAVA.
The acquisition will allow Stonhard to expand its capabilities in high-performance surfaces for cleanroom, healthcare and industrial applications.
The move also bolsters the Netherlands-based company’s position in the resin flooring market while increasing its expertise in decorative and specialty resin technologies.
“By combining our global capabilities with PAVA’s formulation expertise, we are well-positioned to accelerate innovation and expand our presence in key European markets,” said Fred Verdouw, Managing Director of Stonhard Europe.
According to Stonhard, customers will benefit from the expanded technical expertise, a broader product portfolio and enhanced service capabilities across Europe and internationally.
PAVA will continue to operate with its existing team and technical expertise while gaining access to Stonhard’s global resources and manufacturing network.
The acquisition reflects the company’s ongoing focus on innovation, technical excellence and expanding its resin flooring capabilities worldwide.
He said the two businesses would work together to accelerate product development and broaden their offering for customers across multiple industries.
The announcement of the acquisition comes a year after Stonhard launched the all-new Stonkote ESD, which delivers outstanding performance, vibrant colour options and a faster installation process by eliminating the need for a conductive primer.
