Exclusive license for Applied Materials

Applied Materials has obtained an exclusive patent licence from SCP Global Technologies to integrate single-wafer vapour drying technology on the Reflexion LK chemical mechanical planarisation (CMP) system. The licence means that Applied's Reflexion LK tool will be the world's first production CMP system to offer the integrated cleaning technology, the company says.
